Spiced Apple Cider Latte

Total Active Time: 12-15 minutes

Total Cook Time: 6-10 minutes

Prep Time: 2-3 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup apple cider

1/2 cup whole milk

1/2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp alexandria root (whole)

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp elderflower root

1/4 tsp ground cloves


Method

Prep—

1. Prepare your palette board: measure and grind the following ingredients and place them on a blank slab:

apple cider

whole milk

brown sugar

alexandria root (whole)

ground cinnamon

elderflower root

ground cloves

Heat—

1. Add the spices to a small saucepan and turn heat to medium-high. Toast the spices for two to three minutes. Pour the apple cider into the saucepan, followed by the brown sugar. Stir. Bring to a healthy boil and then simmer on low for three to five minutes. Heat off.

2. Add the milk to a mug. Pour the heated liquid into the mug atop the milk. Let cool.
